Ways to support The Book That Almost Rhymed (without spending a cent)

The Book That Almost Rhymed Promo Poster

Without spending a cent, you can support books and authors.

The Book That Almost Rhymed is just 2 months away, and I need help drumming up interest in the book ahead of the launch.

But why are book pre-orders so important? Can't I just get the book when it comes out?

Well, publishers look to pre-orders as an indication of how a book will perform. They use these projections to decide things like how much to invest in a book's marketing... or, sometimes, whether or not to proceed with sequels.

How you can help:

  1. Request the book at your local library and bookstores. (Libraries often have book request forms.)
  2. Mark the book as "Want to Read" on Goodreads or add it to your Bookshop Wishlist.
  3. Share the book with your networks. Post about it on social media (tag @OmarAbedWrites) and mention the book within your other networks and among parents of young kids.
  4. I'm looking for opportunities to discuss the book. If you have connections for school visits, events, podcasts, or media opportunities, please connect me!
  5. Leave reviews online:
  6. Amazon
  7. Bookshop
  8. Goodreads
  9. Barnes & Noble
  10. etc.

And of course, aside from all that, you can pre-order the book!

But wait, there's more!

In an attempt to celebrate this book while honoring the situation in Palestine, I have decided to donate 31% of all my pre-order profits to Palestine Children's Relief Fund (PCRF) and UNRWA. So, any purchase of The Book That Almost Rhymed between now and the book's release on March 26th will contribute to life-saving aid for Palestinians.

Thanks for making it to the end!

Many of you have been here since I self-published You, Me, and a Tree. Now, with the opportunity to launch my newest book and relaunch my writing platform nearly 5 years later, I look to your support.

Here are some links, to make sharing and purchasing easy:

(If you can't pick a link, ordering from Bookshop is slightly preferred, all things considered. Bookshop is a great alternative to Amazon, and a convenient way to support local bookstores.)
